Krvavica

Description of peak:
Krvavica is a 909m high peak located to the east of Čemšeniška mountain pasture. From the summit, which descends steeply on all sides, there is a beautiful view of Posavsko hribovje and part of Kamnik of the Savinja Alps. The summit has a registration box with a book and a stamp.
Legend of Krvavica:
"Above St. George by Tabor is Ojstro and behind it Krvavica. There, Veronika Deseniška was thrown over the rocks. She defended herself, or it did not help her. That is why, to this day, she still goes to sit on the rocks on monlit nights. That mountain is called Krvavica after her unlovely fate."
