Krn

Description of peak:
At 2244 m, Krn is the highest peak of the Krn Mountains, a mountain range that rises steeply above the central part of the Soča River. From the summit, where the viewing platform is located, we can enjoy a beautiful view stretching from the Adriatic Sea, through Monte Mataiur and Breginjski or Kobariški Stol, to Kanin. To the north and east, we have a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps. In good weather, the view extends much further.
