Sveti Peter (Olešče)

Description of church:
Sveti Peter is a branch church in the village of Olešče, located between Svetina and Jurkloštro. The settlement was called Sveti Peter at Jurkloštro a few years ago and was renamed Olešče in 1959 on the basis of post-war laws. It is a locality in the municipality of Laško. The church was built in the Gothic style and later slightly rebuilt in the Baroque style. On 11.02.1944 the 14th division passed through Olešče and near the church there is also the grave of an unknown fallen fighter.
