Description of lake:
Lake Grünsee is located south of Turracher Höhe. It is 1.5 hectares in size, 11.7 metres deep and is the smallest of the three lakes on Turracher Höhe.
In contrast to the other two lakes, it has a very high flow rate.
It has well-developed underwater vegetation, such as Eurasian watermilfoil, Eurasian watermilfoil and the green algae of the steam algae.
The green algae at the bottom of the lake form a green lawn, which is the reason for the characteristic green colour of the water.
The slopes around the lake are decorated with larch and pine trees. Grünsee is considered the most picturesque of the three lakes.
