Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Koper motorway, take the Brezovica exit and then continue towards Podpeča. In Podpeča, turn right and continue in the direction of Krima and Rakitna. At the next crossroads, follow the directions for Krim and Rakitna, and the road will take you past the villages of Dolenja and Zgornja Brezovica to where the road to the hunting lodge Plehanov laz branches off to the right (the branch is marked). Continue straight ahead and follow the road for only a few more 10 m, or until you reach a place where you see a larger parking lot on the left side and mountain direction signs for Krim and Kavec next to it.

Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the forest road in the direction of Krima and Kavec, which splits into two parts after just a few steps. Continue along the left marked road, which gradually starts to descend. Soon the road is laid, and then after about 30 minutes' walk from the starting point it leads to a wrongly marked crossroads. The road turns sharp right into the marked cart track, and the mountain direction sign for Krim points to the left.
Here, turn sharp right and continue along the steep cart track, after which you will reach the Hut na Kavcu in 15 minutes of further walking.
From this hut, continue in the direction of Krima (here you will notice a direction sign which should be at the point where you left the road - the direction signs have been replaced and are therefore misleading). The way ahead climbs through the dense forest to a nearby clearing, through which a rather overgrown track leads. The path quickly returns to the forest, where it then continues along the well-marked cart track. Higher up, we cross a worse forest road, and we continue along the marked path towards Krima. A little further on we come to a macadam road leading to Krim. Here we turn slightly right and continue along the steep cart track in the direction of Krim (it is also possible to continue along the road). The initially wide cart track turns into a moderately steep footpath higher up, which soon leads us to a fence that prevents or forbids access to the military area. Just a few metres further on, you will reach a macadam road, which will take you up to the Dom na Krimu (Home on the Krim) in a few 10 steps.
