Koča pod slapom Rinka - Koroška Rinka (via Turski žleb)

Access to the starting point:
We drive to Luce (to get here from Mozirje or via Kranjski rak) and on to the Logar valley. Shortly after the village Solčava, you will come to a crossroads where the road to Logarska dolina turns left. Turn left towards the Logar valley (pay the toll) and follow the road to the parking area at the cottage under the Rinka waterfall, where you park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the wide tourist trail, which starts to climb gently. After a good ten-minute walk, you will emerge from the forest and reach a crossroads. Turn left (right Orlovo gnezdo 3 minutes) in the direction of the house at Okrešlju. The path crosses a small bridge and starts to climb steeply on the other side. After a short climb, the path leads us under the walls, from where we cross to the top of the waterfall. This part is exposed to falling rocks. The path then crosses the Savinja again and continues upwards along the river using steps. The ascent continues along the right-hand side (left bank) of Savinjek. Soon you reach the spring Savinjek, where you cross the water again. On the other side, the path goes into a dense forest and after a short climb leads to the winter shelter at Okrešlju. Continue to the left and in a few steps you will reach the house at Okrešlju.
At the home, take the path towards Kamnik and Savinja saddle. Soon you will come to the edge of a meadow where there is a crossroads. Continue straight across the meadow in the direction of Češka and Kranjska koča (Kamniško sedlo on the left). The path crosses a torrent and then climbs gently upwards along the rubble. Soon you reach the next crossroads, where you turn left to follow the Turski žleb signs. There is also a memorial at the crossroads. The path then begins to climb steeply and leads to the entrance to Turski žleb. Due to the falling rocks, it is compulsory to wear a helmet on the way through the chute, and it is highly recommended to use self-belaying equipment. The path then leads along the right side of the chute and soon leads to the entrance to the climbing part of the route. Here the route ascends vertically on a number of scrambles and then turns to the left, crossing the more or less vertical walls above the chute with the help of ropes and scrambles. After crossing a number of staples, the path becomes progressively less difficult and soon the last of the ropes ends. There is a relatively steep climb over rough terrain to the top of the chute. In the upper part, when climbing on the rubble, it is necessary to be very careful not to break any rocks. At the top of Turski žleb, where there is also a crossroads, turn right towards Rinkam and Skuta, and left is the path to Turska Gora. The trail then climbs below the slopes of Mala Rinka (2289m) and leads to two successive crossroads. In both cases, bear right after the Rinka markers, and left to follow the path to Kokrsko sedlo and Skuta. The trail then passes Mala Rinka on the west side and turns left into the valley between Kranjska and Koroška Rinka. The path climbs over scree on the right side of the valley and leads to a crossroads where the path to the Štajerska Rinka branches off to the right. We continue straight ahead and, following a slightly steeper and more rugged slope, we reach a marked crossroads. The path to Kranjska Rinka leads off to the left, and we turn right towards the Koroška Rinka. From the crossroads, it is just a short steep climb to the top.
