Krka - Ciganov vrh (Korinjski hrib) (part of circular path Prijetno domače)

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Novo Mesto, take the exit Ivančna Gorica and continue in the direction of the village of Krka. Continue driving through the village towards the church, where at the crossroads next to the church, keep on the main road in the direction of Laze nad Krko or Grosuplje (straight ahead!). About 80 m after the crossroads, park on the right on the main road in a well-paved parking area.

Path description:
Follow the main road in the direction of "Laze nad Krko" for about 100 m, after which you will see for the first time the green-white markers (marking the circular route of the FRIENDLY HOME of the municipality of Ivančna Gorica and follow them most of the way to the top), which you follow through the village on the paths between the houses. Once you cross the main asphalted road and only when you reach it turn right for the second time and follow it for approx. 300 m, after which the markings lead you left into the forest. The path leads us along the forest-macadam path, after about 10 minutes passing a few houses, and then alternately along the forest-macadam path. The trail is well maintained and marked at all times with green and white markings and occasional wooden "Krka-Ambrus" signs, which are part of the circular trail mentioned earlier. After about 40 minutes, we pass a few warning signs "Land of the Bear" and after about 40 minutes we reach the houses again (Laze nad Krko settlement) and when we reach the asphalted road, we follow it to the right for about 350 m, after which the signs (this time for the first time for "Vrh Korinj") lead us right back into the forest. Follow the path past meadows and woods to the ruins of the church just below the summit and to the summit itself. Just below the summit there is a registration book with a stamp, but we can hardly find the summit (on the highest rock it says "Vrh"). Past the bushes and trees we have a view of the vast surrounding forests, the neighbouring villages of Mali and Veliki Korinj and towards Ivančna Gorica. You can go back along the same path or along the main road from Laze nad Krko towards Krka.
