Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice, take the exit Vodice, then continue driving towards Vodice and Kamnik. When you arrive in Mostec, cross the road Mengeš - Kranj at the main semaphore crossroads, then turn left immediately after the crossroads in the direction of Komenda (straight ahead to Kamnik). Continue through Komenda, where at the roundabout turn right in the direction of Križ and Gmajnice. At the crossroads follow the signs for the mountain lodge and at the edge of the forest on the left you will see a parking lot.
b) From Trzin or Domžale, drive to Mengeš and from there continue towards Kranj. At the main semaphore crossroads in Moste, turn right towards Kamnik and then immediately left towards Komenda. Continue through Komenda, where you will turn right at the roundabout towards Križ and Gmajnice. At the crossroads follow the signs for the mountain lodge and at the edge of the forest on the left you will see a parking lot.
c) First drive to Kamnik, then continue towards Kranj. When you arrive in Mostec, just before the main semaphoreised junction, turn right towards Komenda. Continue through Komenda, where you will turn right at the roundabout in the direction of Križ and Gmajnice. At the crossroads follow the signs for the mountain lodge and at the edge of the forest on the left you will see a parking lot.

Path description:
From the starting point, follow the footpath in the direction of Komenda Dobrava, Šenturška Gora, Ambrož pod Krvavcem and Krvavec. The marked trail immediately passes into the forest called Komenda boršt, through which it climbs easily. Follow the markings carefully at several small crossroads.
At the part where the path from Klanec joins from the left, continue straight ahead. A little further on, at the point where the path begins to gradually descend, the path to the partisan hospital branches off to the right, and we continue to follow the path towards Šenturški Gora. The way forward leads us for a short time along a small stream, after which we soon enter an asphalt road, which we follow to the left, and at a nearby small crossroads, next to a house, we continue to the right on a macadam road. From the dirt road, immediately turn slightly left onto the footpath towards Šenturška Gora. Continue through the forest again, and the path soon leads to the next small stream. After the stream, the path climbs slightly steeper, then completely lays down and leads us to the edge of a larger meadow, where we cross the end of the nearby macadam road. Continue along the marked path, which continues with a few short ascents and descents, then quickly reaches a wider macadam road after crossing the Doblič brook.
Follow the road to the right (Zalog on the left) and it will quickly lead you to a place where the path to Šenturška Gora over the Zaloški rim branches off to the left.
Continue in the direction mentioned above (straight ahead, there is another path to Šenturška Gora) and start climbing through the forest. After about 15 minutes, the path is laid and at the indistinct summit of Ostrožno (430 m), the path from Zalogo joins us from the left. Continue to the right along the marked path, which continues without any major changes in altitude, or even descends slightly. A little further on, cross a macadam road, and then start climbing along a well-maintained mountain path. Higher up, the path quickly joins the wide logging trail, which continues the ascent to a ridge, where it turns right. The cart track soon turns into a footpath, which begins to climb quite steeply up a relatively steep slope. After crossing this steep part, join the macadam road, which you follow to the right, and quickly emerge from the forest onto the grassy slopes below Šenturška Gora. After a few minutes of scenic walking along the macadam road, you will reach an asphalt road, which you follow to the right and quickly reach the Pavlin agritourism farm. From the agritourism centre, continue along the asphalt road for a while and then reach the central part of the village, where you turn right in front of the Local House. In the middle of the village, you will see signs directing you down the road to the left. You quickly reach a wider asphalt road where you turn right and walk along it for a few minutes. After a few minutes of walking on the asphalt road, the Šenturška Gora settlement ends and we reach a marked crossroads just a few steps further on.
From the crossroads, continue along the road to the left in the direction of Sv. Lenart, and take the road immediately to the left in the direction of Sv. Ambrož and Krvavec, passing the nearby playground on the left. Markings and signs for the St Martin's Trail direct you to the path which climbs alongside the playground and above it into the woods, through which you climb to the place where you return to the road.
Continue along the road, which makes a right-hand serpentine (at the end of the bend, the Martin Trail branches slightly to the left), and then climb across the forest. Higher up, the forest thins out and you reach a marked crossroads in front of the hamlet of Jagošci.
Continue left in the direction of Krvavec and St Ambrose (straight ahead mountain pasture Osredek, Kamniški vrh and also Ambrož pod Krvavcem across Jagošce), where signs direct you to cart track, which you follow along the edge of the forest. A little higher up, cart track splits, and we go left to climb through lane of bushes and woods, and then reach the next hayfields, where we continue along the left-hand edge. Climb for a few minutes on a less good track which leads along the edge of the wood, then reach the tarmac road at the tourist farm pr Dovar.
Continue cross-wise to the right, and at the nearby houses the road ends and behind them you continue on the cart track, which climbs cross-wise over a view hayfield. When the cart track turns right, leave it and continue a little further to the right on a waymarked path which begins to climb steeply up a grassy slope. The path then climbs up a grassy slope with a view and slowly turns slightly to the right, reaching the church of St. Ambrose and the Tourist Farm pr Ambružarju in a cross-climb. From the tourist farm go to the main road, and from there continue a few steps further to the left on the path in the direction of Krvavec. The path continues along the hemlock plantation, and crosses the asphalt road at a higher level. After a fairly steep climb, mostly through the forest, we once again approach the road or reach it for a few steps. Immediately turn right in the direction of mountain pasture Jezerec and climb gently to moderately. Quickly reach cart track, which leads out of the forest to mountain pasture Jezerca, where there are a few wooden huts.
At the huts, turn off onto a road which leads to a large parking lot at mountain pasture.
From the parking lot, continue past the ramp, along the road towards Hotel Krvavec and the top station of the cable car. After a few steps, or at the point where the road turns into a forest, a mountain trail branches off to the left, leading towards Davovec and Štefanja Gora. After about 10 minutes, in the middle of a left turn, the road to Kriška planina branches off to the right, and we continue along a wider road on the left, which starts to climb more visibly. Slightly higher up, on a small levelling, another road branches off to the right towards Kriška planina (the road to the Viženčar tourist farm and the Florjan pasture farm). Continue along the "main road", which leads above the watering point for cattle. The road then climbs crosswise, leading us partly through the forest and partly over the viewing slopes, from which a beautiful view opens up towards Gorenjska. When the road is laid, it then leads quickly to the upper station of the round-cabin cable car, opposite which is the Mountain Home at Gospinec or Rozka Cottage.
