Ribenski most - Hunting cottage Talež

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice road, head towards Bled. At Bled, the main road branches off to the left towards the village of Ribno (there are two branches). The two roads then merge and take you to Ribno, where you reach several successive crossroads (1st right Selo, 2nd right Ribno centre and 3rd right Savska cesta). Here, at the third crossroads, turn right towards Savska cesta. Follow this descending road through the village to the bridge over the Sava Bohinjka. Cross the bridge and turn right after the bridge. Follow this road for another 100m to a large parking lot at the edge of the forest.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road and after a few minutes' walk it leads to the signs for Talež 30min (for fast walkers). Here, continue straight across a small clearing into the forest. Next, we initially climb up the path, along which we can see a lot of stones and torrents. What you see along the way are the aftermath of the storm in September 2007. The path then becomes steeper and steeper and after 20 minutes of walking it is already climbing steeply. Follow this path, where the steepness subsides only once for a short while, to the point where it joins the cart track. Here continue to the right and after a few steps walk along cart track until you reach a cross and a partisan monument along the way. Just a little further on, you will come to a forest road, where you continue to the right. Follow this road, which climbs only slightly, until you reach a hunting lodge, which you reach after a five-minute walk.
