Stara Fužina - Studor

Access to the starting point:
From Ljubljana, take the Gorenjska motorway to the exit for Bled. Continue via Bled towards Lake Bohinj. Right next to the lake, at the Church of St. John the Baptist, turn right and continue towards the village of Stara Fužina. Find a suitable parking place in the village and continue on foot.

Path description:
From Stara Fužina head towards the entrance to the Voja valley. At the very beginning of the valley is the ancient Devil's Bridge, which connects the banks of the deep gorge of the Mostnica River. On the left bank, right next to the bridge, there is a signpost for mountain pasture Uskovnica. Continue in this direction. The wooded path, partly marked with somewhat faded markings, climbs quite steeply for about 40 minutes. Immediately after leaving the forest, we reach the grass pastures of mountain pasture Blatce. Already at the first houses, turn right towards the steep cart track, which is used for hauling felled timber. After a few minutes' walk along cart track, a path covered with stone chippings branches off sharply to the right. Follow it and you will soon arrive at a clearly visible unmarked forest track which will lead you in 10 minutes to a grassy clearing offering an extraordinary view of Bohinjsko jezero, Stara Fužina and the Lower Bohinj Mountains. From the glade, you can continue on the path to the very top of Studor.
