Access to the starting point:
From the centre of Ljubljana, drive to Streliška Street and park in the pay parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, walk to the middle of Strelica Street, where you will see the road to the castle (signposted). Continue up the pavement, which runs parallel to the road. The road, which is becoming more and more scenic, makes a right turn a little higher up and soon leads to the parking lot of the Ljubljana Castle. From the parking lot, walk up to the castle mansion and climb the many steps to the lookout tower (there is no charge to climb the lookout tower).
