Vidrga - Planinski dom na Zasavski Sveti gori (on forest footpath)

Access to the starting point:
From the road Moravče - Zagorje ob Savi, in the village Vidrga, by the guesthouse with accommodation at Vidrga, turn right (left from the route of Zagorje) in the direction of Zasavska Gora. Park in a suitable parking lot after the crossroads, near the guesthouse or ski resort.

Path description:
From the starting point, continue along the asphalt road in the direction of Zasavska Svete gora. At first you pass the Natura 2000 information board and the Kandrše Vidrga ski resort, and then you begin to climb, at first gently and later moderately. Continue through the village of Kostrevnica, and when the village ends at the hamlet of Razpotje, go right at the chapel to cart track, where you will also be directed by a wooden sign. Then climb across the meadow, where, looking back, a view opens up as far as Kamnik Savinja Alps, and when you enter the forest at the crossroads of the tracks, continue slightly left. Cross a dirt road, then climb cart track. Cart track turns right higher up and ends a few minutes higher up. From the end of cart track, go left along a well-worn but unmade track, and follow it for some 10 paces to the right to reach another track. From the above-mentioned cart track go left shortly, where a well-traced path continues. There is a steep climb, and at the crossroads follow the upper or better-beaten path. At higher elevations, cross a few steel cables and stay on the steel cables for a short time. After crossing a few steel cables, walk along the well-worn cart track, when the steel cable turns right and gradually begins to descend, go straight on to the marked path Vače - Zasavska Sveta gora, where after a few steps you will come to a marked crossroads.
Continue left in the direction of the Hut on Zasavska Sveta gora (the church on Zasavska Sveta gora is on the right) and after a short crossing of a steep slope, you will reach an asphalt road, which you follow to the left. After another minute of easy and scenic walking, you will reach the mountain hut.
