Description of bivouac:
Bivacco Bontadini is located at an altitude of 2580 metres below the slopes of the summit of Mesolino. The bivouac is relatively well visited, mainly because of the Ferrata delle Trincee, a protected route which begins or ends in the military tunnels next to the bivouac. The bivouac offers a very good view of the Marmolada and Lago di Fedaia.
