Cuel Mauron is a landlocked neighbour of Monte Palavierte. Reachable from Route 412 on Palavierte after beating dwarf pines and following an exposed rocky ridge. An exceptional viewpoint (complete Carnian, Western Julian with the Muzce Ridge, High Tauern, Dolomites, Istria, Friulian Lowland). At the top is cairn with a commemorative wrought-iron cross.
