Kres nad Kočno

Description of peak:
Kres nad Kočno is a beautiful viewpoint located on the north-easternmost shoulder of the Mežakla plateau in the immediate vicinity of the famous Poljanska Baba. From the top, below which the wooden cross sign is located, we are offered a magnificent panoramic view from Gubný in Karawanks on the far left, through Kahlkogel and Stol, and part of the Kamnik Alps, to the vast Ljubljana basin in the centre. On the right you can see Ratitovec with Jelovica and Galetovec on Pokljuka. On the same side, our gaze is sure to stop on the slightly lower Poljanska Baba.
