Petzeck

Description of peak:
Petzeck is the highest peak in the Schober Group at 3283 metres. The summit offers a very nice view over most of the Schober Group, and Großglockner (Grossglockner) is also visible. The interpretations of the name Petzeck are also interesting. One of the more plausible explanations is that the name derives from the Slovene word for oven or sand.
