Slovenski planinski muzej - Grančišče (Ferata Mojstrana - Blue)

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Gorenjska motorway at the Hrušica exit and follow the road towards Kranjska Gora. Just before the village of Dovje, the road branches off to the left and leads to Mojstrana (Vrata, Kot and Krma). Follow the road in the direction of the Vrata valley, but only as far as the Slovenian Mountain Museum. Park in the parking lot of the museum.

Path description:
From the parking lot at the museum, continue along the road for about 100 metres towards Vrata, then take a sharp right onto the road (Pod Grančišče) leading towards the Grančišće escarpment. The road leads you past a few houses and then you will soon see an information board about protected climbing routes in the forest on your left.

Turn left onto the narrow path that leads past the signs and after a short climb you will come to the first ropes. To the left is a more difficult red trail, and we turn right onto an easier blue trail. From the crossroads, we climb along the steel cable through a sparse forest, then the trees soon end and we have a better and better view of Mojstrana from the trail. The path here turns left and leads us under a vertical ladder where we cross the more difficult red trail. We do not climb over the ladder, but continue to cross the steep slope to the left. At the crossroads where the easier and harder paths cross, follow the blue colour on the rope. The path then starts to climb a little steeper and, in addition to the rope, there are also a few staples to help us. The blue path is easier than the red one, but it is still exposed all the time. There is also quite a bit of earth and sand on the path, so there is also a risk of falling rocks. Further on, we keep climbing along a fairly narrow exposed path with a nice view of Mojstrana. Higher up, we cross a more difficult path a few more times, and then the protected path soon ends and leads us to the registration box.

From the registration box, it is just a short climb through a sparse forest to the summit.

A self-protection kit and helmet are compulsory for the ascent of the described route.

Descend on an easy path through the forest, marked with a sign "Mojstrana". The climbing routes are not intended for descent.
