Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice motorway, take the Lesce exit and follow the road towards Bled and on to Bohinjska Bistrica. Continue driving towards Bohinjsko jezero (Ribčev laz), at which you will come to a crossroads, where you will continue straight along the left (south) side of the lake in the direction of Ukanec and the Savica waterfall. Follow this road to the bottom station of the pendulum at Vogel, then buy a ticket and take the cable car to the top station, which is the starting point for our tour.
Path description:
When you get off at the top station of the cable car, turn right towards the Merjasec mountain hut. This is reached after a 100m walk.
At the hut, take the path in the direction of Vogel, Šije and Rodica. The way forward begins to descend gently on a ski slope, and then leads us to a nondescript saddle, where the path to Zlatorog branches off to the right.
Continue left along a worse road, where there are no signs, and you will come across markings a little further on. The dirt road starts to climb and turns slightly right. A little further on, cart track has a crossroads, but the left steep and right curving quickly merge. Then, on the right-hand side, you see a cross where the minor road flattens out and leads to a fork in the path on a small plateau.
Head straight towards Šija and continue slightly uphill on the transport-rescue road. A little further on, the signs for Vogel and Šija direct us to the right on a footpath which soon leads to a place where we cross a ski slope. There is also a crossroads where you continue left (one of the paths to Vogel is on the right) along a path that leads you along and under the cable car to the highest peak of the ski slopes (the High Eagle Edge).
The way forward turns into a pleasant mountain trail, which descends slightly for a short time and then climbs slightly to a crossroads below the Šija peak. Here continue left (straight Šija, right Vogel) along the path which starts to descend. The path then crosses a short scree slope, becomes lane of dwarf pines and leads to a slightly more difficult passage. The path then climbs steeply and crosses a slightly exposed ravine. The way forward continues along the scenic ridge and leads us within a few minutes of further walking to the saddle Čez Suho, where we are joined on the left by the path with mountain pasture Suha.
Continue straight on the path, which occasionally ascends slightly and then descends again. A very scenic path leads us a little further on to the base of the Rodica pyramid, where we have two options for continuing. You can either continue slightly to the right along the marked path or turn left and reach the summit along the unmarked path. If we choose to climb the marked path, the path from Ruta joins us slightly higher on the right. Continue in the direction of Rodica and climb the undistinguished summit ridge Rodica, the summit of which is reached after a further 10 minutes' walk.

Včeraj sva z ženo prehodila tole turico. Načeloma nič posebnega, bi pa opozoril na to da je obvezno imeti s seboj pokrivalo in dovolj tekočine. Na poti praktično ni m2 sence in sedaj v poletnem času zlasti za tiste ki sonca ne prenašajo dobro zna biti problematično.

Zdravo!
V kratkem nameravamo s prijatelji prehoditi turo ski hotel vogel - vogel - rodica - črna prst.Zanima me če mi lahko kdo pove čas hoje in kakšne so te dni razmere v tem koncu!

tk7 upam, da še ni prepozno. pred leti sem opravila pot ski hotel vogel-vogel-rodica-črna prst od 7.00 zjutraj, ko je začela voziti gondola in ob 17.00 sem bila na črni prsti. tudi jaz nameravam ponovno opraviti omenjeno pot. varen korak želim, pot je pa prekrasna.

joj, pozabila, se vidi da je že dolgo kar sem bila na tistem koncu, Iz Vogla sem šla še na Planino Razor in seveda nazaj na Vogel in potem proti Rodici.

Z vrha Vogla pa do Rodice ni treba it nazaj do Ski hotela.Pot poteka bolj al manj po vrhovih oz. ob vznožju vrhov.Na kartah, kot npr. Julijske Alpe vzhodni del 1:50 000, je to vse lepo označeno

Prejšnji teden sem hodil od Sorice do Lepene, torej od vzhoda proti zahodu, tokrat sem hodil od severa proti jugu in tako sklenil Bohinjski križ od Bohinjskega jezera do Grahovega ob Bači. Zaradi izobilja kač bodo ostali podvigi v pogorju počakali na hladnejšo jesen FOTOREPORTAŽA TUKAJ

Na poti med Rodico in Crno prstjo kmalu na zacetku podor in skoraj nimas kam stopit.Potrebna velika previdnost.
