Access to the starting point:
From the crossroads at Mrzle Studenec on Pokljuka, take the road leading to Gorjuše, Koprivnik. Then, after about 4 km of driving in the direction of Gorjuše, you will see a road turning left towards Belska planina and Galetovec. This is also indicated by a signpost on a tree. Leave the car just before the turn-off on the left side of the road, where there is space for a few cars.
Path description:
From the roadside parking lot, follow the dirt forest road to Belska planina (about 15 minutes), where there are some weekend and summer cattle grazing. The forest road takes you along mountain pasture on the right hand side and onwards to a crossroads where a signpost warns you to take the right hand path after Galetovec. Continue slightly uphill through the wods, then the path descends to reach a meadow. The path follows the edge of the meadow and then turns left after Galetovec. The path climbs gently and after about 10 minutes you reach the top, from where you have a beautiful view of Karawanks, Storžič, Jelovica, Bled and the surrounding area.
