Zbelovo - Zbelovo castle (circular path)

Access to the starting point:
a) Leave the motorway at Tepanje exit Slovenske Konjice and take the Draža vas, Žič and Loč to Zbelovo. There are plenty of parking spaces in the village where you can park safely.
b) From Poljčane, drive in the direction of Slovenske Konjice, where after a few kilometres you will reach Zbelovo. There are plenty of safe parking places in the settlement.

Path description:
From the centre of Zbelovo, take the asphalt road by the fire station and bakery Boč and cross the bridge over the Dravinja River to the right bank. Practically immediately after crossing the Dravinja, a signpost - the steep path sign - directs you higher up the easy-to-follow but otherwise unmarked easy path. The trail is easy to follow, especially in the forest, and here and there the trail opens up a little. The castle is soon reached, and there is a registration book, as well as a table and benches for resting.
After the registration and a short rest, continue westwards out of the castle area along a pleasant forest path. After a good hundred metres we reach an asphalt road leading higher up to a homestead below the very top of Zbelovo mountain. We continue downhill to the left, passing the farmhouse and two or three cottages or vineyards. The final descent is made in a wooded area and we soon reach the flat area or the point where the steep ascent began.
The length of the circular route is about 1100 metres, 150 positive and 150 negative vertical metres.
