Hodoš - Hodoš lake (circular path around the lake)

Access to the starting point:
Drive to Murska Sobota, then follow the signs for Hodoš. When you arrive in Hodoš, turn left towards the centre of the town, where you turn right at the municipal building and drive past the branch primary school to the nearby cemetery, where you park in a larger asphalted parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, return to the municipal building, then turn right and walk along the pavement that leads through the village. The pavement ends at the road turning right towards the village of Glava Zala / Szalafo, and we continue along the edge of the road to the end of the village Hodoš and a little further on to the nearby crossroads, where a macadam road turns off to the left, which will take us to Dolenice.
Continue straight ahead and after a few steps of further walking you will reach a wooden shelter, where you will leave the road and climb up a nearby embankment.
When we reach the embankment, we have a nice view of Hodoš lake, and we continue along the embankment, which leads us over the south-eastern shore of the lake. When you leave the embankment, take the aforementioned dirt road to the right, then quickly turn right and cross a small bridge. The path continues along the lakeside, where you pass a hunting observation post and a teaching board, and then reach cart track, which you follow for a short distance. Go right before the small hut and cross the Dolenski potok at your own risk over a small bridge a little further on. Walk for a few minutes between the field on the left and the lake on the right and you will reach the road leading to the lake again.
From here it is about 15 minutes of walking along the familiar path to the trailhead and the end of the trail.
