Access to the starting point:
From Ljubljana, take the Gorenjska motorway to Jesenice, and follow it to the Ljubelj (Podnart) exit. Continue on the expressway towards Ljubelj, and at the first exit turn right, where you will quickly reach a roundabout, from which you will continue in the direction of Podnart and Kropa. The road will then lead you through an underpass under the motorway, and a little further on will take you to a junction where you will join the road from Nakleg. Here we turn right and continue along the road, which gradually starts to descend. In the middle of the descent we come to a crossroads where we turn sharp left (towards Kropa) and then immediately after the bridge over the Sava River we turn left again (right Podnart). Continue along the Lipnica river and follow the road to the crossroads where the road to Kamna Gorica branches off to the right. Turn right here and follow the road for about 500 m to a parking area on the side of the road. On the left side of the road you will see a mountain sign for Vodice.
Access from Radovljica is also possible.
Path description:
From the parking lot, cross the road and then take a side road in the direction of Vodice. After a short climb, the road ends and you continue along the left-hand cart track. The path then climbs moderately through mostly cart track, which has a few forks, so follow the signs carefully, but there are not many of them. After a while, the path leads to a forest road, which takes about 10 minutes to climb. When you see a marked path on the right side of the road, leave the road and climb up the path, which after a few minutes crosses the road you left. The path then climbs through the forest, in places quite steeply upwards. When you join the path from Kropa (Srednji Konec) the steepness eases a little. The path then gradually climbs again a little more and then quickly leads us to the beginning of the Vodiška mountain pasture. Then it is just a steep climb up the mountain pasture to the Partisan Home.

Danes sem bila prvič na Vodiški planini. Prijetno vreme, prijazen oskrbnik na vrhu,lepo urejena zunanjost doma, še posek lesa sem lahko opazovala. Pot je na tej strani dobro opisana. Le za obiskovalce, ki poti ne poznajo, bi bilo lepo, da bi jo tako dobro markirali, kot je tista, ki se priključi iz Krope. Saj so tudi iz Miklavževca sicer že obledele markacije, ampak samo na poti, na križiščih, kjer bi jih najbolj potrebovali, jih pa ni. Še posebej bi bilo potrebno zamenjati tablo za Vodice ob glavni cesti in jo postaviti na bolj vidno mesto. Prijetne poti želim!
