SSK Sam Ihan - Sveta Trojica (above Dob) (via Sveti Miklavž and Oklo)

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Štajerska motorway at exit Domžale, then follow the signs for Krumperk Castle. Park just a little further from the motorway, in the parking lot next to the ski jumping hills of SSK Sam Ihan.

Path description:
At the end of the ski jumping centre, at the point where there is a no parking sign along the macadam road, take the footpath that turns into the forest and starts to climb moderately. Higher up, the path splits several times, but higher up it joins up again and it doesn't even matter which direction you choose, all that matters is that you keep climbing. After about 15 minutes of climbing, the marked path from Domžale joins us, and we continue our gentle to moderate climb, ending at Velikem vrh.
From Veliki vrh we continue straight ahead, following the path which begins to descend moderately, and at the crossroads we follow the few signs. A little lower, you will come out of the forest and climb gently across a meadow to a macadam road, where there is a marked crossroads.
The marked path continues towards Sv. Trinity, and we follow the dirt road for a minute or two to the Church of St. Kunigunda.
From the church, we return to the last crossroads and then continue in the direction of Okleg and St Trinity. After leaving the forest for a few minutes, cross the route of the high-voltage power lines and then reach the Brdo pri Ihan Equestrian Centre, where you get onto the asphalt road. Follow the asphalt road downhill a little to the crossroads where the chapel is located, and then climb up the road to the left of the chapel (you can also reach the Church of St Nicholas by continuing along the road to the right of the chapel).
The way ahead leads along the asphalt road towards the village of Dobovlje, but we leave it just a few minutes further on, at the left-hand bend, and continue to the right on cart track. At first the path is still quite close to the asphalt road, then it turns slightly to the right, and higher up it leads to a small crossroads, where we continue on the slightly right cart track (slightly to the left we can reach Dobovlje or Oklega). Follow Cart track, which crosses the slopes to the right in a slight ascent, then follow it all the way to the Church of St Nicholas at Goropeče.
After the church, go left, initially slightly uphill, then follow cart track, which crosses the slopes to the right and joins the tarmac road a little further on, which is reached between the chapel on the left and the farm on the right. Follow the road to the left for a few minutes, or until you reach a miniature trestle, where yellow and white markings direct you left to cart track. Follow cart track for a few minutes cross-climbing, then the signs direct you right onto a slightly narrower path. The path widens quickly, and then a rather gently sloping path leads us quickly to the NOB memorial at Oklem. At the memorial, descend the stairs, then a little further on you will reach a wider macadam road where there are a few houses. Follow the road as it climbs gently (left down Dobovlje), following the signs for Sv. Trojica. The road soon ends, and we continue left on a waymarked path that climbs cart track, and after a few minutes it lays down and leads us to the next memorial. A few minutes of walking follows without any major changes in altitude, or a gentle descent, following the rather sparse markings at the crossroads. We then start to descend more visibly, first across the meadow and then mostly through the forest. The road quickly becomes asphalted and leads us past houses in the village of Žeje. At the first crossroads go left, and when you reach the main road go right in the direction of Sv. Trojice.
The way forward leads us along the main road, where we walk past the fire station, the sports ground, and then we arrive in the village of Sveta Trojica. We continue along the road, following the signs of the Stations of the Cross, and when the road is laid, we continue to the left towards the Church of St Trinity, which is only a 2-minute walk away. If you continue straight at the last crossroads, after a further minute's walk you will arrive at the Zavrh Café.
