Pravdan - Vrtače (via Zgornje Palovče)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the roundabout on the Kamnik ring road, take the exit towards Volčji Potok, then turn left before the Arboretum Volčji Potok onto the road towards Rudnik at Radomlje. Continue past the Arboretum Golf Course and when you reach the priority road at Rudnik pri Radomlje, turn right at the junction. The road continues past the Glamping OB ROBU GOZDA and the Repanšek Gallery, and then reaches the municipal border between the municipalities of Kamnik and Domžale. Park here in a suitable place along the road.
b) Drive to Radomlje, where from the roundabout in the middle of the settlement take the exit towards Rova. Just 100 m further on from the church in Radomlje, turn left onto Opekarniška Street. Continue straight ahead, following the signs for Rudnik, and park at the municipal border between Domžale and Kamnik.

Path description:
From the starting point, where the first markings are seen, continue along cart track, which branches off the road to the north-east. Climb gently to moderately through the forest for some time, then the path changes to an undistinguished wooded ridge, along and along which you continue for some time. Higher up, the path turns right off the ridge and climbs cross-country to a crossroads in front of the Čeh Tourist Farm.
From the crossroads, turn left towards Trebelno pri Palovčah and continue along the gently ascending macadam road.
On the slopes of Grdav hill go right and continue along the road. Walk along the road for some time, or until the point where cart track branches off from an unmarked valley to the left, after which you continue ascending (you can also continue along the road, but it soon ends and you then have to climb up through a field to reach the settlement Trebelno pri Palovčah). Continue along the logging trail, which you follow until you reach a tarmac road.
Follow the asphalt road to the right and quickly reach a crossroads where the road from Trebelno near Palovče joins. Continue along the main road, which leads past the chapel to the village of Zgornje Palovče. Through the village we climb to a wooden cross, at which we turn sharp left onto a fairly steep road, along which we pass a few more houses, and after the houses we continue along the cart track, after which we climb to a small pass, where we go right onto a beaten track, which, with beautiful views of Kamnik Savinja Alps, ascends to the hunting observation post. At the hunting observation post, the path goes slightly left and a little higher into the forest, through which you continue to an inconspicuous summit.
