RC Korant - Ajdovščina nad Ihanom (on cart track)

Access to the starting point:
On the Štajerska motorway, turn off the AC at the Lj-Šentjakob exit. Immediately at the exit turn in the direction of Litija. Follow the Zasavska road for about 5 minutes until you reach the roundabout in Dol pri Ljubljani, where you take the 2nd exit. At the first crossroads turn left and after approx. 50 m the road turns left and at the crossroads turn immediately right. Follow the road for about 300 m where a road sign directs you left uphill to RC Korant. After another 300 m you will reach the starting point. Park on the gravel parking lot.

Path description:
From the macadam parking lot at RC Korant, keep left to go around the centre's facilities. The path turns between two oak trees, where after a few metres there is a crossroads where you take the middle path. The path starts to climb steeply and after a few minutes you reach another crossroads where you again take the middle path logging trail. After a few minutes the steepness eases and then a slight descent follows. The path approaches logging trail coming from the left. You can either take the left logging trail or the right footpath. Both lead to an indistinct wooded summit after a minute's walk.
The path is entirely in mixed forest and is therefore particularly suitable on rainy days or days of heavi rain.
