Access to the starting point:
From Sodražica drive towards Hrib-Loški Potok or vice versa, and when you see the signs for Koča na Kamnem griču (road marker), turn left or right on the road. Park at a suitable place at the crossroads (the starting point is near the road marker 7. 5 km).
Path description:
If you have parked on the opposite side of the road to the dirt road leading to Koča na Kamnem griču, then first cross the main road carefully, otherwise first descend slightly from the junction. Once the road stops descending it enters a fairly dense forest and starts to climb. Higher up, the road leads past a memorial, a sign and a small hut, and then after a further short climb we arrive at a marked crossroads, where we continue left in the direction of Koča na Kamnem griču (straight ahead Koča na Travna Gora, Nova Štifta. . . right Hrib-Loški Potok. . . ).
The poorer road leads us through increasingly sparse forest, and higher up over a fairly scenic grassy slope. The hut, which we can already see in front of us in the last part, can be reached in just over 5 minutes' climb from a crossroads with numerous mountain signs.
