Access to the starting point:
Leave the Ljubljana - Koper motorway at exit Kastelec, then follow the signs for Podgorje. Before Podgorje, turn right onto the road towards Praproče, and at the sign marking the beginning of Praproče, continue along the road on the left and park 50 metres further along the road in the marked parking area.
Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the connecting cart track road back to the right and walk towards the centre of the village. Leave the tarmac road at the first houses and continue right along the marked path, which continues on a less good dirt road. After a few minutes go slightly left off the road onto the grassy cart track, and after a few steps go slightly right off the cart track onto the waymarked footpath. From the crossroads onwards, climb gently for a short time, then the path becomes slightly steeper and, in passing, also scenic. Cross the fence and then join the cart track from Črnotiče, which leads to the Church of Our Lady of the Snows within a minute's walk.
