Access to the starting point:
a) Drive to Ankaran, then continue to Debeli rtič and Border crossing Lazaret. A few 100 metres before you reach Border crossing Lazaret, you will see a large gravel parking lot on your right.
b) Drive through Border crossing Lazaret into Slovenia, and after a few 100 metres park in the larger gravel parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the main road towards Ankaran, and when you reach the crossroads where the road to the health resort Debeli rtič branches off to the right, continue between the vineyard on the left and the road on the right. At this junction, there are also signs, and we climb between the vineyards to the lookout hill Gažel, where there are some antennas, and from the lookout we have a beautiful view of the Bay of Koper and the Bay of Trieste. We walk along the dirt road for a short distance, then reach an asphalt road at the first houses, which we gradually start to descend. In a few minutes you will reach the main road, which you will reach at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Valdoltra. Continue along the pavement, and when you reach Ankaran, continue from the roundabout to the nearby parking lot, and at the edge of the parking lot on the left is the Korta bar, where you can get the stamp of the SPP for Ankaran.
