Lipa - Dom planincev Farbanca

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Celje take the exit Vransko. Continue driving along the old road in the direction of Ljubljana, but only to the point where the road to Vransko branches off to the right. On the west side of Vransko you will see a road heading towards the village of Prapreče and Vologa. Follow the road, which then starts to climb steeply, through the village of Vologa to the Lipa Prevala, where you park in one of the car parks.
It is also possible to access from the Zadrečka valley.

Path description:
From the Lipa prevala, follow the footpath in the direction of St. Jošto. The path, which follows the cart track, climbs steeply at the beginning, then the steepness eases slightly. This is followed by a cross-climb through the forest on a path which, after a good 20 minutes' walk, leads to an unmarked crossroads. Here, leave the marked and relatively steep cart track and continue sharp left on the partly overgrown cart track, which after 3 minutes of further walking leads to a forest road (if you miss the above-mentioned cart track, you can also join the above-mentioned road at a slightly higher level).
When you get on the road, follow it to the left (with Jošt on the right). The road runs almost horizontally at first, then starts to descend more visibly and after a while joins another road that is more inclined. Continue right (or straight) along the road, which soon leads to the next crossroads. Continue straight on again (sharp right to St Jošt and Tolsti vrh) along the road, which a little later makes a long left turn. The road, which descends mostly gently, is then followed all the way to the home of the Farbanca mountaineers.
