Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take the exit Vodice, then continue to the first semaphore crossing in Vodice, where you turn left towards Cerkelj na Gorenjskem and Brnik. When you reach the main roundabout at Spodnji Brnik, continue driving in the direction of Cerkeliai and the ski resort Krvavec. At the end of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road, which continues towards Velesovo and Visoke, and turn slightly right onto the road towards the ski resort Krvavec. Continue to the village of Grad, where signs for Ambrož pod Krvavcem direct you to the right on a steep asphalt road (straight ahead to the lower station of the round-cabin cable car to Krvavec and Štefanja Gora). When the steepness of the steep road eases slightly, you will come to a junction, where you will continue to the left in the direction of Ambrož pod Krvavcem (straight ahead to the settlements of Ravne, Apno and Šenturška Gora). A little further on, the road descends a little and then climbs over slopes that are sometimes quite scenic. Higher up, you reach Ambrož pod Krvavcem, where you pass the church of St Ambrose and the tourist farm Pr Ambružarju on the left. From the tourist farm the road passes into the forest and climbs through it to mountain pasture Jezerec, where there is a large parking lot.
b) From the motorway Jesenice - Ljubljana take the exit Kranj - East, then continue to Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. When you reach the main roundabout at Spodnji Brnik, continue driving towards Cerkeliai and the ski resort Krvavec. Path description:
At the end of the parking lot, where the road turns left and the road branches off to the right towards the nearby mountain pasture Jezerca, you will notice red mountain direction signs directing you straight onto the marked footpath in the direction of Kriška planina, Vrh Korena, Košutna, Kompotela and Mokrica, which ascends through the pastures of the aforementioned mountain pasture. After a short climb, cart track is reached, and we follow it to the left, crossing the slopes of Kržišče (1658 m). Cart track, which we are following, quickly splits into two parts, and we continue straight on the lower one. Transitionally, we get a nice view towards Kranj, the Škofjeloško hribovje and Storžič, and then the path starts to descend gently. A few more minutes of walking follow, and then we arrive at the parking lot at the lower part of Kriška planina.
From the parking lot, continue in the direction mountain pasture Koren and follow the worse dirt road, which passes through the underpass under the ski slope. After the underpass, the marked path veers slightly left off the road, continuing parallel to the road along a spruce tree avenue. After a few minutes of gentle ascent, when you reach the eastern edge of Kriška planina, where there is a small watering place for animals, continue slightly left over a pasture fence (right mountain pasture Osredek and Kamniški vrh), but continue the gentle ascent in roughly the same direction. The path continues with mountain pasture to the slightly steeper slopes of Krvavec, over which we climb crosswise to a viewpoint from which we have a fine view towards Kržišče), the ridge of Kamniški vrh, the Korošice valley, Velika planina and towards the nearby Košutna and Velika Zvoh.
From the viewpoint, which is located a few steps to the right of the path, we begin to descend steeply towards the hunting lodge above the Korošica valley. When the descent stops and the trail continues without any major changes in altitude, you will come to a prominent but poorly marked crossroads where the trail branches off to the right towards the aforementioned hunting lodge and further towards the Korošice valley and the Kamniška Bistrica valley. At this crossroads, continue slightly left and start climbing slightly through the forest. The path quickly leaves the forest and passes through bushes and dwarf pines, and then gradually leads us through a pasture fence to the next unmarked crossroads, which is located right in the middle of a sharp right-hand bend. From the serpentine, an unmarked path continues straight ahead towards the Razor saddle (the saddle between Krvavec and Velika Zvoh), and we continue to the right along the further marked path. There is a short cross-climb and the path leads us to the southern part of mountain pasture Koren, from where we have a nice view over the central part of mountain pasture and the surrounding peaks. From the southern part of mountain pasture there is a short descent to the nearby shepherd's hut, which is located in the central part of mountain pasture Koren.
Here our route continues slightly left (slightly right mountain pasture Košutna) through the meadows on the valley floor (the path is initially not very visible). The path then becomes steeper and steeper and after less than 30 minutes of walking leads us to a small puddle where there is a less well marked crossroads. Continue straight ahead (right Košutna) and follow the gently sloping path to the next crossroads, where you continue left in the direction of Vrh Korena (straight Kompotel). The path ahead starts to climb steeper and quickly leads us through the karst world to a place where you join the path from Veliki Zvoh to Vrh Korena (the ridge of Jez). Continue to the right and the path leads in a few steps to a place where the path to Vrh Korena branches off to the right, which is reached after a minute's further walking.

Cesta vrhunska do izhodišča med najboljšimi, parkiranje 2 evra, ampak je več kamer zaradi varnosti. Odlično, tako se to dela.

Zdravo, moderator mi je danes izbrisal komentar o včerajšnem vzponu na vrh Korena. Zanimivo pa je to, da nimam obrazložitve o izbrisu komentarja in menim, da mi je kršil avtorske pravice. Ob tem prosim moderatorja, da vrne komentar, saj je bistveno bolj zanimiv od večine vseh komentarjev, ki so vse prej kot ažurni. Z malce satire, nežaljivo, izvirno ne škodi nikomur, v nos pa leze predvsem nekomu, ki nima posluha za humor. Kot star pregovor pravi, nad 1000 metrov ni greha..in tukaj se gibljemo večinoma še višje. hvala

Kaj je tukaj spornega, če sem napisal da sem imel obe glavi nad 2000 m glede na višino hriba? med drugim sem omenil tudi, da je bilo izjemno ledeno in da so potrebne dereze...Kletvice sem uporabljal, ker kletvice so del našega vsakdana in samo zatiskate si oči in prikrivate resnico ko zanikate uporabo kletvic. V hribih od izjemnih planincev velikokrat slišim besedo kurba, tala je pa dobra za žez kolena, tala ješprn je pa za en kurac, tela štrukle pa tud ps nep požru itd...
No jaz nikogar nisem žalil, tako kot turbo, ki komentar primerja z menoj. Kaj pa je on povedal o razmerah? Nič, njegov komentar pa je vse povedal o njem.

Oooola Faloti, vsi ste vi piloti, kvajdej? Spet sm u klagor lezu! Sva šua z našo Majdi-Marijo učerej okol peth pupoune prke Košutni iz parkinga. Nisva colala 2 eura, ko jh šlivi, je djala naša, prau to sta dva kufeta! Sn djau bo treba h spoved spet mau.. Rajtam de res, po sva pa šua. Snega enh 15 cm nouga uspodi. Leteva gor do koče Koren, sn djau Majdi počak, a lučke maš sm uprašu, prau dve mam k ti itak nč nimaš. Sn djau, mam dve ja, sam ne lučke  Tnerka, puhovka, rokavice, kapa, tošl, fertik! Vetr pihu k 100matr, pa lih ene tok hitr . Snega u zameth po pot tud več k po metra se je ugrezou, es pa Puma tnerko, kurc sm reku Majdi, es jo bom kr gor zavihou da nou mokro. Prau, tis tak bk. Sva prva gazva gor, ubenga nker, črno pa k u rit! Pihau pa u gobc sneh nama na enh delh tuko, d sm mel brado k apostol. Čvouk saj prdi uhka umer, kse ne sliš, se spomnm besed kolega kmj nkt umenu kje šu s tanovo u hribe, gaj pa napenou . No še mal kuko sva hodiva, da nou admin SPET zbrisou komentar in s tem naredu napako! Hdo m je če zrd mene napake deva in mu tga res ne prvošm. Od koče Kuren sva djala pejva prke Košutn k še nisva bua. Svede sva zajebova pot in kr nnkt u tmi sm djau Majdi, ndva greva pa prke Kumputel. Čis nč se pot ni vidva, kola mau sm kšno skalo še prepoznou. Itak sva šua čist po soje, tm čuvekova nuga še ni bua. Let, sneh usega je bo dost. Sam še polarn medvd je mankou! Okol minus 8 je bo! Prau Majdi kam greva, prav, est ne grem več naprej! Po sva pa mela borbe...sn djau evo še 5 min pa greva dol, se spet ustav, prau es mam dost, sm reku dej še mejhn potrp, es vidm vrh...in res gazva uderou se je gubok in kola gor prke lun sm vidu da je vrh prednama. Sm reku evo Majdi toj to, tolaj vrh Korena. Prau nč ne vidm, spet me nategujš, prav, dela m greš pa res na živce. Pihau pa tuko, da čep padau odpru b guro uzignu. No in res kola par metrou pred vrham sm pučakou, se Majdi prklonu in k kšn anglešk đentlmen prepustu da prva gor pride. Sn djau pr seb, talaj taprava! Poj pa svede, brez selfijou ne gre. Prau naša, dej rokavice dol da najuš slikou kla pr tela železni škatli kje en zgleda knišco vn spizdu, zato kje bua prazna! Uraj bua okol 20. Sem je kr zanohtou, ksm tisga Sansunga u rokah držu, velk pa k dep mu polen u rokah... Nč poj pa dol leteva k snete skere prke koč pit. Dol sva šua pa tuko da sva stopinam sledila. Sam kaj kjh je vetr use zjebou in jh na kritičnh konch ni bo več vidt. Nč, sm sam isntinkt uklopu, Majdi pa zamano. U po ure sva bua pr koč, zgleda se nama je pit mdiu. U koč pa šnpsa 2 flaše, sva pa začela poganat ga, zato pa je tm!. Pr peth sm jenu štet. Majdi je mela pa še frutabele u tošlnu, kje bl na ruzak spominu. Sva jh 7 pojedla od tega est 6. Cukra dost, en kp šnopsou u rit pa gasa dol prke auto. Sva celo pot čeblala..poj pa sej veš, debate ono, ovo...prav da j je zanč na en zabau en mulo do ne pršu in reku, dons bomo pa fukal, joj pa za eno drugo zamešu. Prav naša ti tola sme pa za eno drugo zamešu, prav mulo sej usen. Višk kašn so 26 letniki dons. Op deseth zvečer sva bua pa pr auto spet, sreč nisva obvestila redarstva dobila. Omejduš je bo spet lušno, že 3x ta mesc sm bil na vrh korena, sn djau Majdi dej ga mam pa puhn kufr že. Madona tud če ne mislm jt gor usen gor pridm. Prau naša nej se ga na nugo tetoveram. Ja nč tuko je bo, b pa vsem povedu tola. Gora ni nora, nor je tist k gre gor!

Ali je sneg ze skopnel? Kakšna pa je situacija čez greben Jež-a (sneg/led)? Jutri nameravam iti na krožno turo (Jezerca, Vrh Korena, Zvoh in nazaj).
