Glave

Description of peak:
Glave are an undistinguished side ridge of the Ponce, rising steeply to the west of Planica. The highest peak of Glav, which measures 1760m, is called Ovčja strana (Sheep's side) on maps, which is incorrect, as this is the name of the cirque between Visoka Ponca and the ridge of Glav. From this partly vegetated and little visited peak, we have a wonderful view of Visoka Ponca, Ciprnik, the Mojstrovka ridge and the central Julian Mountains, where Špik and Škrlatica stand out.
