Description of peak:
Monte Guarda is a mountain in the chain of peaks from Veliki Grintavec (1943 m) towards the Predel border crossing. A little further on, there is a memorial to a fallen miner in the shape of a wedge. From the top, there is a view of the Loška Stena, Rombon, Jerebica, the Kanin group, Rabeljska Spice and Rabelj.
