Description of peak:
Hochschober is a 3,240-metre-high mountain in the Schober Group. Although it is the fourth highest mountain in the group, it is the mountain that gives the group its name. The Schoberkees glacier is also located on the north side of the mountain. From the summit, there is a very nice view over most of the Schober group, and the Großglockner (Großglockner) is also visible. The mountain was first climbed by Franz Keil on 18 August 1852.
