Sveta Lucija above Studenice

Description of church:
On a hill on the left bank of the Dravinja above Studenice is the Church of St Lucy. The surrounding area, especially the eastern part, is surrounded by the vineyards of the Dravinja Mountains. St Lucy is the patron saint of sight, and legend has it that the church was built by Dominican sisters from a nearby convent in gratitude for the fact that one of the sisters had lost her sight. Today it is a branch church of the Studenice parish and there is a cemetery within the walls. The church has a rich interior decoration in Baroque style. The view of the surrounding countryside and especially the nearby and higher Boč is beautiful.
