Bivacco Montanel

Description of bivouac:
Bivacco Montanel is located on a grassy plain to the south of Cima Montanel at an altitude of 2048 metres. The permanent open-air bivouac has four beds. There is a larger bivouac next to the smaller one, which is privately owned and locked. The bivouac has a fine view, especially of the rocky ridge to the west of the summit of Cima Herberg.
