Mala Košuta

Description of peak:
Mala Košuta (German: Kleine Koschuta) is a 1740 m high peak located in the far east of Kosuta. The summit, which descends steeply towards Austria, offers a beautiful view of the eastern part of Koschuta, the nearby Plešivec and part of the Kamink Savinja Alps.
Recently, some people have been using the name Meli Košuta, which is incorrect, as Meli is just a crumbly slope on the Austrian side of the ridge between Mala Košuta and Tolsto Košuta, which is crossed by a marked trail maintained by the Slovenian Mountaineering Association in Klagenfurt.
