Krniška glavica / Jof di Sompdogna

Description of peak:
Krniška glavica (Jof di Sompdogna) is a 1,889-metre-high peak in the Western Julian Alps, north of Jôf di Montasioa. There is a cross on the lookout point and a small bivouac just below the summit. The bivouac is a converted military building. From the top there is a very nice view of the nearby Montaž, but you can also see Viš, Višarje and the peaks above the Dunje valley.
