Koča na Vrhu Svetih Treh Kraljev

Description of mountain hut:
The hut is located just a few minutes below the 884-metre-high peak of Sveti Treh kraljev. The cottage, located in the Rovtarski hills, is also reached by an asphalted road from Logaška, Horjul and Žirovská. The roads merge a few kilometres before the hut. In front of the hut, which is surrounded by wods, there are a few wooden tables and benches. However, due to the aforementioned forest, there is no view. Just a minute below the hut, a military tunnel was built between the First and Second World Wars, but was never completed. During construction (excavation), they came across an underground cave with a network of tunnels more than a kilometre long and up to 70 metres deep. Aragonite and helictite formations are found in the cave.
