Andrejci - Sveti Benedikt (Kančevci)

Access to the starting point:
Leave the Pomurje motorway at the exit for Murska Sobota and continue driving towards Moravske Toplice. When you arrive in Martjanci, leave the main road leading to Moravske Toplice and then to Lendava and continue driving left in the direction of Sebeborci and Križevci. At the end of Sebeborci, the road to Križevci turns off to the left, and we continue straight on the main road, which we follow until we reach a signpost marking the end of the Andrejci settlement. Park in a suitable place at the triangular crossroads, which is located just after the sign marking the end of the settlement.

Path description:
From the starting point, continue along the road on the left in the direction of the Benedict House of Spirituality in Kančevci, the Goričko wine tourist road and the astronomical observatory "kmica". The road along which we continue our journey quickly leads us to the village of Ivanovci, which at first passes without any major changes in altitude. After a few minutes of downhill, there is a short moderate climb and then a descent again. After a few minutes of descending, we reach a slightly larger crossroads where we leave the main road, which turns right and continues towards Prosenjakovci, Berkovce, Ratkovci and Kančevci, and continue straight ahead on a slightly narrower, but still asphalted road. The road continues to climb gently and, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills, quickly leads to the Benedict House of Spirituality and, a few steps further on, to the Church of St Benedict.
