a) Leave the Gorenjska motorway at exit Lesce, then follow the signs for Bled and Bohinj. Shortly before the end of Bled, leave the main road towards Bohinj and continue slightly to the right in the direction of the bivouac. After about 1. 5 km of further driving, you will arrive at the bivouac Bled, where you park at the edge of the bivouac in a pay parking lot. The price is EUR 3/h (November 2019).
b) Drive to Bohinjska Bistrica, then continue driving to Bled. At the beginning of Bled, turn left in the direction of bivouac Bled. After approximately 1. 5 km of further driving, you will arrive at the bivouac Bled, where you will park at the edge of the bivouac in a pay parking lot. The price is EUR 3/h (November 2019).
A little further on we get a nice view of XX9XX, and the road continues to climb mainly gently to moderately. After a long right turn, the road leads to a meadow, but before the feed room, we leave the meadow and continue to the right on the often quite rugged cart track. At the first fork in the track, take the left-hand track, and at the second, the right-hand track, in both cases the wider track. When the track, or logging trail, is laid, a small path is seen to the left of cart track, which continues parallel above the track. A few 10 paces further on, another track joins from the right, which branches off slightly further with cart track, and we continue along the track through the forest to a small pass, where we join another track, which we follow quickly up to a dirt road, which we follow to the left. As you walk along the road, the marked path from XX10XX - the path over the Slamnike - joins from the left. Here, a few steps further on, just before the NOB memorial, in a direction straight ahead or slightly to the left, the path to Turno branches off (continue along the XX12XX and Belska mountain pasture road). When you leave the road, the path turns slightly to the left, then quickly passes onto a ridge, which you climb in a few 10 steps further walking to the scenic Turno.

DeepL in the Press
Tech giants Google, Microsoft and Facebook are all applying the lessons of machine learning to translation, but a small company called DeepL has outdone them all and raised the bar for the field.
Its translation tool is just as quick as the outsized competition, but more accurate and nuanced than any we’ve tried.
TechCrunchUSA
DeepL has also outperformed other services, thanks to more "French-sounding" expressions.
Le MondeFrance
Even though the translations from English by Google and Microsoft are quite good, DeepL still surpasses them. We have translated a report from a French daily newspaper - the DeepL result was perfect.
Golem. deGermany
A quick test carried out for the combination English-Italian and vice versa, even without any statistical pretensions, allowed us to confirm that the quality of the translation is really good. Especially from Italian into English.
La StampaItaly
The system recognizes the language quickly and automatically, converting the words into the language you want and trying to add the particular linguistic nuances and expressions.
ABCSpain
Indeed, a few tests show that DeepL Translator offers better translations than Google Translate when it comes to Dutch to English and vice versa.
RTL ZNetherlands
In the first test - from English into Italian - it proved to be very accurate, especially good at grasping the meaning of the sentence, rather than being derailed by a literal translation.
la RepubblicaItaly
Personally, I'm very impressed by what DeepL is able to do and yes, I think it's really great that this new stage in the evolution of machine translation was not achieved with software from Facebook, Microsoft, Apple or Google, but by a German company. We like to make ourselves a little bit small and pretend that there is no one in this country who can stand up to the big players. DeepL is a good example that it is possible.
Mobile GeeksGermany
DeepL from Germany could surpass Google Translate
WIRED's quick test shows that DeepL's results are indeed in no way inferior to those of the high-ranking competitors and, in many cases, even surpass them. The translated texts often read much more fluently; where Google Translate forms completely meaningless word chains, DeepL can at least guess a connection.

Path description:
From the starting point, follow the macadam road with signs for Bohinjska Bela, Stan, Rčitno and Pokljuka. At first, walk along the Bled bivouac and the stream, then gradually approach the railway line, and reach the other side via the underpass. After the underpass, go left, and at the nearby marked crossroads, take the right path towards Rčitno (straight ahead Bohinjska Bela. A few steps further, cross a small stream over a bridge, and go right after the bridge, following the signs. Walk through the woods, and we climb cart track, which gives us a view of the torrent over which a larger waterfall falls in the rainy season. Here the path turns slightly more to the left and climbs mostly transversely. Higher up, we once again cross a torrential stream, where the high water level makes crossing quite difficult, but the path turns right just a little further on and leads us to a short lookout, which opens up a beautiful view from Lake Bled to the Kamniško Savinjske Alps. Then crossing to the right, where the markings are lost for a while, when cart track starts to climb, we see them again. When you reach a dirt road a little higher up, follow it to the left (right Bled on the road) and climb moderately. Higher up, pass the trough below Križi, and just ahead, the path joins Bohinjska Bela on the left.
Continue straight on in the direction of "Rčitno" and continue climbing on the dirt road. The road then passes into a valley below the Roof of the Roof, and when we leave the valley we pass onto the slopes of Gač, from where we get a temporary view of the surrounding hills. The way forward is to return to the forest, and when we leave the forest we reach Rčitno, where there are a few huts.
In the middle of the lower part of mountain pasture, continue left in the direction Bohinjska Bela and follow the road, which soon turns into cart track, ascending in a moderate ascent to the upper southern edge of mountain pasture, where you continue to the right (straight ahead to Bohinjska Bela) past the huts into the forest. In the forest you quickly see the signs for Pokljuka, and we climb crosswise to a forest road, which we follow sharp left (slightly to the right continues the marked trail towards Pokljuka).
A little further on we get a nice view of Lake Bled, and the road continues to climb mainly gently to moderately. As you walk along the road, the marked path from Bohinjska Bela - the path over the Slamnike - joins from the left. Here, a few steps further on, just before the NOB memorial, in a direction straight ahead or slightly to the left, the path to Turno branches off (continue along the Galetovec and Belska mountain pasture road). When you leave the road, the path turns slightly to the left, then quickly passes onto a ridge, which you climb in a few 10 steps further walking to the scenic Turno.
Starting point - Rčitno 2:00, Rčitno - Turn 1:15.

Discussion about the trail Bled (Velika Zaka) - Turn (above Bohinjska Bela)
|
tango14. 10. 2020 |
