Access to the starting point:
To get to the upper reaches of the Kolpa valley, either via the Strma Rib Pass or via Kočevje and Brod on the Kolpa. Park between the villages of Bosljiva Loka and Mirtoviči.
Path description:
The route starts at a power pole and initially follows cart track. After 100 m turn right up logging trail, which soon becomes steep. At or just before the saddle, there are several paths leading left up to the ridge. When you get to the power line pole on the ridge, you are on the right track. The ridge rises steeply, and in places, before the peaks, it is necessary to cross a higher step. The path is not well marked, but it is well marked and easy to follow.
After each summit, there is a small descent. Until Kobila, the summit is always in sight. From here on, it is a steep descent and the peak is only visible when we are at it. After the descent, continue slightly to the left and go around the ridge tooth offered. The pine trees are higher here and block the views.
The path soon joins the one starting in Mirtovice (and continuing along the stream valley). The path rises steeply in places to the ridge, and after some 200 metres of ascent we are at the crossing to Kremparski sedlo. It is quite narrow in places, and you need to be especially careful when crossing torrents. Almost horizontally, the path from Borovec near Kočevska Rijeka leads to a crossroads, where you continue to the left.
Continue along the increasingly steep path, which leads along and along the ridge of Borovška Gora. Higher up, the marked path turns right, and we continue left along the unmarked path, which climbs steeply for some time, then leads us to an unmarked lookout point, where it is laid. The path then crosses the slopes to the right, then turns slightly to the left and, after a short climb, leads us to the saddle between Krokar on the left and Cerk on the right. Here, continue left and follow the less visible path, which continues along the edge of the precipitous cliffs, to reach the summit in a few minutes.

Lepo, samotne poti, hodila z ženo do odcepa
proti Mirtovičem, sledil kratek kanjoning
v Blaubachu(blaubah), pritoku Mirtoviškega
potoka, dva cuga, tri banjice, pa si že
v ledenem potoku, enem zadnjih slovenskih
zatočišč vider, ki sem jih tudi osebno
videl pri sotočju s Kolpo, ko sem veslal
s kajakom !Po pripovedi so Kočevarji ob
suši hodili po vodo čez Inlauf, ker Blaubach nikoli ni presušil, pa tudi vidre
se še redko vidijo, odkar je vrsto let tam
na sotočju s Kolpo čez poletje planinski
tabor! Vsak plus naredi tudi svoj minus!

Lepa pot po grebenu, na kateri večino časa ni kaj dosti dreves in si prepuščen na milost in nemilost sončni pripeki. Če ti sape ne vzamejo strmine pa ti jo zagotovo veličastni razgledi na obširne Dinarske gozdove in kamnite stene nad dolino Kolpe.

Vzpon na Krokar ni več dovoljen, saj se nahaja znotraj krokarskega pragozda. Spoštujmo pravila in raje obiščimo bližnjo Krempo.
Sicer pa pot iz Bosljive Loke ni vzdrževana v smislu obnove markacij in tudi ni del Kočevske planinske poti. Del KPP je samo spust s Krempe in hoja po Kremparskem sedlu do informativne table, potem pa se KPP spusti vzdolž Krokarja navzdol in se obrne strmo levo proti Cerku.

Res je, da v pragozd ne smemo hoditi, kljub temu pa bi planinci lahko obnovili markacije, saj je vzpon iz doline Kolpe do sedla med Krokarjem in Krempo kar zahteven podvig.
Kraji ob Kolpi so zelo samotni in če sem zaide kakšen planinec, bo po vzponu na rob Borovške gore nagrajen s prelepimi razgledi na dolino Zgornje Kolpe ter na številne vrhove Gorskega kotarja. Spomladi bo pohodnik lahko opazoval tudi zanimive rastline in občudoval mogočne sestoje črnega bora.
Popotnikov se razveselijo tudi redki domačini, z njimi radi poklepetajo, saj so ti kraji ob Kolpi res samotni.
