Bottom station of cableway on Krvavec - Hotel Krvavec

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take the exit Vodice, then continue to the first semaphore crossing in Vodice, where you turn left towards Cerkelj na Gorenjskem and Brnik. When you reach the main roundabout on Spodnji Brnik, continue driving in the direction of Cerkeliai and the Krvavec ski resort. At the end of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road, which continues towards Velesovo and Visoke, and turn slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski resort. Park in the large parking lot at the bottom station of the Krvavec cable car.
b) From the motorway Jesenice - Ljubljana, take the exit Kranj - East, then continue to Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. When you reach the main roundabout at Spodnji Brnik, continue driving towards Cerkeliai and the Krvavec ski resort. At the end of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road, which continues towards Velesovo and Visoke, and turn slightly right onto the road towards the Krvavec ski resort. Park in the large parking lot at the bottom station of the Krvavec cable car.

Path description:
From the lower station of the round-cabin cable car at Krvavec, we continue for a short time along the asphalt road leading to Štefanja Gora, but we soon leave it, as at the beginning of the left turn we continue right on the macadam road, along which we see the signs for Davovec, the gravesite of the NOB fighters above Davovec and Krvavec. The dirt road continues along the Reka stream, and we continue along the valley to where the marked trail to Davovec and Krvavec turns left. Here we see signs along the way indicating that cyclists may come towards us, as part of the route follows the route of a "downhill" cycling track. The path continues through the forest and climbs quite steeply. Higher up, the path leads to the largely deserted hamlet of Davovec, where a few houses stand. Still a little higher we reach the saddle Davovec, where we join the paths from Štefanje Gora and Spodnje Kokra, and we continue to the right, initially along the cart track in the direction of the Mountain Home at Gospincu. The rather folded cart track then leads us past the NOB memorial, and the path forks behind the memorial a few times in a short time. At all crossroads, follow the markings carefully, and the marked path soon leaves the cart track and continues to climb steeply through the dense forest. The steeper and steeper path leads us higher up to a small lookout point, from which we have a view of the circular cable car leading to Krvavec. The path then returns to the forest and climbs up a path where you may meet some touring cyclists (there are quite a few of them; most of them have their own route, but occasionally there is only one route). Once out of the forest, the path crosses a pasture fence and then leads to a road, which you reach by the snow-ploughing garages.
Here, continue left (to the right, the upper station of the circular cable car to Krvavec and the Mountain Lodge at Gospinac - 1 minute) along the road, which continues by the summer park Krvavec and then passes into the forest, where it leads you past the adventure park. Above the adventure park, you will reach the Pension Tia, and after the pension, you will climb up a few serpentines to the Hotel Krvavec, which is located to the left of the macadam road.
