Cesta na Grmače (Moravče) - Dom Ušte - Žerenk

Access to the starting point:
When you get to Moravce (from the route of Krtina), pass the petrol station and keep driving on the priority road, passing the Nissan servis Krulc. After the Nissan, there is a bus stop on the right and the "Nad Logom" pub on the left. After the bus stop, immediately turn sharp right for Ribče, go uphill and shortly afterwards downhill. After going downhill, drive about 300 m further along the road, and before the next asphalt climb, leave the car (in front of the farm, which is on the left!!!the only farm). You will quickly notice a forest path on the left. The path starts by the dwelling house of the farm I mentioned.

Path description:
There, we start our journey towards the Ušte-Zerenk mountain lodge. The trail is well marked, we walk diagonally the whole time. The macadam road that greets us before the last climb just cross it and walk on along the forest path or track. When you reach the tarmac road, turn left uphill. After about 200 m, a view opens up to the left of the mountain lodge. You can continue along the asphalt path, or cross the meadow in front of the mountain lodge. You can plan to return to where you came from, or follow the asphalt road that goes around to your starting point. The mountain hut is open Tue-Thu 12h-8h, closed Mon, Fri-Sat 8h-8h, Sun 8am-6pm.
