Chortata - Egklouvi road - Stavrota (Lefkada)

Access to the starting point:
On island Lefkada in Greece, drive to a village Chortata (gr. Χορτάτα), in the village continue for Menasi (gr. Μενάσι) and immediately left for Egklauvi (gr. Έγκλαουβι. Park at the very last steep part of the road before it reaches the plateau. There, a macadam road branches in direction to the south. This is our starting point for the hike.

Path description:
Walk along the macadam road for more than 1 hour. When it ends, continue the path to the last more steep part, where the trail is harder to follow (despite some faint markings along the way). Keep left at this section and afterwards you will reach the mountain top. The view is magnificent, from the greek mainland to many islands (Meganisi, Skorpios and other islands towards Kefalnia).
