Crno polje - Zelena glava

Access to the starting point:
From Konjic, we head towards Lake Boracke. The road climbs towards the settlement of Borci. After 11 km from Konjic, turn right towards Rujište in Borci, just before the Orthodox church. The road soon becomes macadam. After about 4 km from this main macadam road, take a slight right turn, which ascends in serpentines for another 7 km. This part of the macadam is quite challenging and at least a slightly higher vehicle is recommended. From Konjica to the starting point is about 1 h and 15 min drive. At the starting point there is a small meadow with parking.

Path description:
From the starting point, you quickly find a well-marked trail which leads you in a few minutes to the mountain pasture Crno polje, which offers beautiful views of the peaks to the south (Sivadije 1967 m). The trail then descends a little and leads westwards through a beech forest. After an hour's walk, we leave the forest and the path leads us through the grassy pastures of Prenje. The path is mostly flat with intermediate ascents and gentler descents. On the northern side, we are accompanied by the walls of the Osobac peak (2024 m). After more than two hours, we reach the Jezerce mountain hut. From the hut, head north past Jezerce (direction Tisovica). The trail climbs gently and after half an hour's walk turns sharply to the left (westwards) into a rocky valley, after which you climb steeply under the northern walls of Otis and Zelena glave. At the next crossroads turn left (right Tisovica) and soon reach the saddle between Kopilica and Otis. The path here switches sides and climbs along some rocks to the saddle between Otiš and Zelena glava. Continue over the saddle and after a 15 min climb (a few places with a rope) you reach the summit.
