Davča - Davča waterfalls

Access to the starting point:
From Železniki, drive in the direction of Cerkno. Shortly before the village of Zali Log, the road continues straight towards Soriška mountain pasture and left towards Cerkno. Follow the signs for Cerkno until you reach a slightly larger crossroads, which leads left (180° turn) along the main road to Cerkno and straight on towards Davski Falls and Porezno. From here, drive straight ahead and follow the signs for Davški slapovi. At the next major crossroads, you will find the fire station, where you continue straight ahead. There are a few more small crossroads along the way, but always continue straight ahead and follow the signs. Shortly before the finish line, a macadam path awaits us, but it is soon interrupted by the Davča stream. This is also where we park. There is plenty of parking space.

Path description:
The path from the parking lot leads us straight across a small bridge to the lower waterfall, where we are also greeted by an information board with a description of the three Davška waterfalls. We return a few metres to the viewpoint for the lower and middle waterfalls, and turn uphill just before the little bridge. After a few metres of climbing, continue straight ahead at the first turn-off into the quarry, and turn right at the second turn-off and continue across the quarry. Shortly after the quarry, you will find a viewpoint for the middle waterfall, and a few metres further on for the upper waterfall.
