Dolina Drage - Dolina Drage (Forest learning trail Draga)

Access to the starting point:
First, take the Ig, and then continue driving towards Škofljica. At the end of Ig, at a sharp left turn, you will notice a side road that turns right from the main road (straight ahead). This road then leads through the village Kremenica to a crossroads where two roads branch off to the right towards Draga (take the second road). Follow this road to the parking lot by the Big Pond and the hunting lodge.

Path description:
The Draga forest trail starts at the parking lot and by the Big Pond, and immediately after the parking lot leads off the road to the right, across the meadow and into the forest, through which you continue along the cart track. Cart track soon turns right, then climbs for a short distance and then turns left in a semicircle. At this point, we get some views of part of the Ljubljana Marshes and Kamnik Savinja Alps, and then the trail passes to a part where there are quite frequent educational signs along the trail. The trail then leads to the village of Dobravica, where, when we get on the road, we continue down to the left, and then, at the end of the village, we see signs for an educational trail, which lead us into the woods again, where the trail continues on the cart track. For some time the path continues without any major changes in elevation, then gradually begins to descend more visibly, and at crossroads follow the trail signs, or if there are no trail signs, follow the better-trodden path. There is a slightly longer descent, and then you reach a macadam road, which you can follow along the ponds back to the starting point.
