Dom v Iškem Vintgarju - Partisan hospital Krvavice

Access to the starting point:
Take the southern Ljubljana bypass and take the Ig exit, then follow the road towards Ig at the junctions. At Ig, continue towards Iška vas (you can also get here from Podpeč or Škofljica). Follow the well-marked road to a large parking lot near the home in Iška Vintgar.

Path description:
From the parking lot, walk to the home in Iški Vintgar, then immediately after the home continue right along the ascending cart track in the direction of Krimo and Bercet's Partisan Hospital in Krvavice. Cart track goes immediately into a dense forest, and next to it you will see a notice that you are entering a bear area. Continue along the marked cart track (the track has a few forks, so follow the markings carefully), which leads us at 650 m to a point where a marked path branches off to the left (straight ahead) towards the Krvavice Partisan Hospital (the branch is not marked).
Continue along a significantly narrower path which begins to descend crosswise to the right. After a few minutes of descending, the path briefly climbs and then begins to descend steeply on slopes that are steep and, especially in the wet, dangerous for slipping. During the descent, you will soon reach the ruins and, just a little further on, the huts of the still relatively well-preserved partisan hospital.
