Eco farm Magu - Basališče (Paški Kozjak)

Access to the starting point:
From the road Velenje - Slovenj Gradec, between the villages of Paka pri Velenju and Zgornji Dolič, at the road sign between 5. 5 and 6km, a road branches off to the right (and from the Slovenj Gradec direction to the left) to the quarry. Take this road, which turns left before the quarry and then climbs up to the house at Paško Kozjak. Continue along the macadam road, which soon leads to a crossroads where you continue along the lower right road (Jošt on the left). After a short descent, the road then leads to the next crossroads, where you continue to the left. The road ahead has a few more crossroads, but everywhere we stick to the one that is more "main". When we see signs along the road that we are at the bio farm Magu, we become alert. Here we still drive on but only to the next crossroads where we turn left and park in a small parking lot by the road. You can also get here from the village of Vitanje.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue up the road, which leads from the initial sparse forest to a larger meadow. The road crosses the meadow and on the other side of the meadow there is a roadblock (ramp). Continue up the road to the hunting observation post, which can be seen on the left-hand side of the road. Here, turn left on the cart track, which after a few minutes leads to a small pass. At the very point where cart track starts to descend, leave it and turn right onto the footpath which climbs gently up the top slope of Basalica. Follow this path, which mostly passes through the forest, all the way to the top.
