Gorenja Trebuša - Poldanovec (Poldanovška grapa)

Access to the starting point:
From Ljubljana, drive through Idrija to Dolenja Trebuša where you turn left for Gorenjska Trebusa. At the fork for Čepovan turn left and continue to the confluence of the Jelenk and Trebuščica brook and park just before the concrete bridge. Here there are signs on the right hand side directing you to Poldanovec.

Path description:
In Gorenja Trebuša start at the signpost for Poldanovec. Continue to the first farm, past it along cart track to a signpost pointing to the left. After a short time, you reach a ravine, where you then move along it alternately left to right until the track retreats right onto a ridge. In between, there are ropes in a couple of exposed places. Eventually the track drops left again into the ravine, which is crossed and continued on the left. After a while, cross to the right again and regain the ridge. Higher up, we reach the Poldanovška cross-track and here we turn left (arrow on the tree). When we reach the stone tooth, which is already below the top of the ridge, the path is a bit flatter to the ridge where the path joins from Lokev and Stan's Edge. Here we continue along the path to the left to the very top, where we get a wonderful view of Trebusa and the surrounding hills all the way to the Julian Mountains.
The path is marked with red circles. It is not recommended in winter and early spring because of the abundance of snow that persists for a long time in these ravines. An interesting trail maintained by the Trebusani people.
